Loft Apartments Reborn in a Heritage Setting: The building on Attila Road was completed in 1938, designed by architect professor Dénes Györgyi. As few buildings in Budapest preserve his work, it was essential during the renovation to maintain the building's original character and style. One of its unique features is three entrances with three stairwells, resulting in complex internal dimensions and split levels. The building is not a listed monument, but it stands in a heritage-protected area, so its façade and external parameters could not be altered.

From Transformer Station to Luxury Residences: The renovation was effectively a complete reconstruction, as the former transformer station had to be reborn as a property with 16 luxury apartments. A bespoke requirement was that each apartment have its own direct lift access. The building block received a ground-floor lobby, wellness and fitness facilities, a street-facing restaurant, a bakery-café, and a car park—the latter presenting the greatest technical challenge. The 23-car parking facility is operated by a fully automated parking machine.

Façade and Interior Garden: The balconies facing Attila Road were removed due to the building's unique internal dimensions, creating a unified, modern façade clad in white stone slabs. The building forms a large U-shape, with a private garden in its centre accessible to residents. From their interior terraces, residents look out onto glass roofs and the garden, providing a true oasis on the edge of the Castle District.

Loft Interior Design and Custom Glass Solutions: The apartments feature loft-style interior design with large open-plan spaces and expansive glass surfaces that consciously enlarge the rooms. Bright, spacious, and airy—galleried apartments with a slightly French, raw-natural feel, where all glass is custom-designed. Moving shower cabins, full mirror and glass walls, glass stair railings, and smart-film glass walls through narrow staircases was a true logistical feat. The result is a true Buda gem in a prime location, serving residents' comfort with exceptional technological applications and the most modern innovative solutions.
