This year the 15th Budapest Architecture Film Festival took place again at the Toldi Art Cinema. Between 2-5 March, the programme included film screenings and panel discussions. DVM group, as one of the most complex architecture and construction service providers in the Hungarian market, attaches great importance to professional dialogue and the promotion of contemporary architecture programmes.

Ida Kiss, the design director of DVM group, was invited to one of the professional discussions. The topic of the discussion was ‘New forms of housing; How far is community good and where is the limit of private space?’, which was held with urban planning and urban policy expert Levente Polyák on 5 March. In the context of the film “Good Life”, innovation, international and domestic start-up culture and how the integration of community spaces is reflected in the housing projects currently under planning.

“It’s interesting to see how tenants and owners of new build housing aimed at younger generations, and the generation that is choosing to live in the properties designed for them instead of in dormitories, live together in community spaces,” concluded Ida Kiss.
