DVM group organised a knowledge-sharing workshop with the Netherlands-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce / Dutcham to reimagine office spaces with the help of the company’s unique Discovery service. The service helps in a variety of ways to redesign office environments in a cost-effective and agile way, taking maximum account of employee input and wellbeing considerations in the process. Working practices have changed and these changes have created additional demands that require research into future trends. Many companies are currently working to ‘lure-back’ their employees back to the office and to create a healthy balance between working from home and a full office life. This method helps to increase employee engagement, improve work efficiency and allow flexibility in planning existing office space. The interactive workshop was actively facilitated by Ida Kiss, design director, and Zsuzsanna Hodován, service designer, where the teams worked in small groups through the whole Discovery process. At the end of the process, there was unanimous agreement on the need to involve the staff in the design and rethinking process, as this is the only way to achieve a result that will result in committed colleagues in the long term and smooth out any generation differences.
