The Völgyzugolyház Alapítvány a Kacifántosokért is an organisation set up by two concerned mothers 6 years ago to help severely and multiply disabled children to develop in a school environment. They operate as a public charity without any normative support, so they raise their operating costs on their own each year with the help of donors and through tenders. In setting up the school, the founders’ aim was to enable children to develop in a peer community, side by side, with the support of professionals who would work with them on an individual basis. 🏡Paramedics, development workers, physiotherapists and music teachers are all there to take small steps to make everyday life better. In addition to the school sessions, this year they have also organised a summer camp, much to the delight of the children.
