Data Protection Notice

DVM group handles your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which enters into force on 25 May 2018, according to the principle of consent, privacy, data security and confidentiality.

I. Data Management Consent

You voluntarily consent to DVM group (address: 1052 Budapest, Türr István utca 8.) as a data controller during this registration to control your personal data already provided by you, as well as the date of your registration, IP address and your you consent to this data management in order to organize events and maintain partner relationships, send greetings, invitations and other announcements of business news. You acknowledge that DVM group’s data management is based on your voluntary contributions, and on the legal basis that it is necessary for event organisation and business communication. You are entitled to request, refuse, correct, delete, block or mark your data from DVM group and, in the event of violation of your rights, you may initiate an investigation and refer the matter to the National Privacy and Data Protection Authority.

DVM group is taking pictures and videos at its event. By accepting this data management consent and participating at the event you hereby expressly consent to the photo and/or video recording of your face, appearance and behaviour by DVM Group or by a professional in charge. DVM group is free to use and publish the audio and / or video recordings made of you after the event subject to the relevant legal requirements and with respect for privacy rights. For these you are not eligible for compensation against DVM group.

You also voluntarily agree that:

(a) DVM group, as a data controller, may transmit your data (name, email address, company name, company address and telephone number) to any of its subcontractors who are in the process of storing the data, only for the purpose and duration of the contract. Your data will be treated confidentially and returned to DVM group after the expiration of the cause, and the data subcontractors store will be destroyed.

b) DVM group may contact you for business purposes (including via newsletter) and to use data processors for this purpose.

You are aware that:

  • Data management is based on the consent that you provide voluntarily.
  • You may withdraw your consent at any time with a statement made to DVM group, but the revocation does not affect the legitimacy of pre-retraction.
  • You may ask DVM Group at any time to access, correct, cancel or restrict your personal data, object to the handling of your personal data, file a data transfer request, and you are entitled to contact the National Privacy and Data Protection Authority (Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság, 1125 Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22/c ) filing a complaint and initiating judicial remedies against the data controller or data processor.
