Accessible by a separate lift from Vörösmarty Square, the St. Andrea Wine & Skybar, visible from afar, mixes elegant interior design with an industrial flair. Surrounded by a sliding glass wall, the soft, comfortable furniture creates an exclusive yet cosy atmosphere. The copper-effect upholstery of the show kitchen and bar counter contrasts excitingly with the leather elbows.

Above the bar, spherical lamps reminiscent of grape vines, similar to the grape cluster lamps in St. Andrea Wine & Gourmet Bar, create a warm atmosphere. Skybar lights spill out over the city with illuminated strips mounted on the underside of steel beams. The open rooftop terraces serve as outdoor lounges for tourists and locals alike, who enjoy the panoramic views. With its central location, high audiovisual technology, unique design and special gastronomic offer, Skybar has become an instant favourite for private and corporate events, partner meetings, press conferences and standing receptions.

St. Andrea Restaurant

Continuing the values of one of the most beautiful Hungarian wineries, the St. Andrea Vineyard in Egerszalók, in 2015 architect Attila Kovács and his partners created the St. Andrea Restaurant. Since its foundation, the restaurant has been a key player in Hungarian fine dining, a home of reliability, casual elegance and classic dining experiences. Located in the beautiful historic building of the renovated Eiffel Palace in the centre of Budapest, the restaurant space has the metropolitan echoes of Eger: grape vines, bottles and the light of grape-eye lamps shape the sophisticated atmosphere.

The interior designer has done a masterly job, creating a unique atmosphere where elegance is combined with a sense of cosiness and intimacy. On the walls are the mottos of the eponymous St. Andrea winery: ‘Place + love = great wine’, ‘We strive to practice what is good’.
