Nespresso Boutique Budapest

The expansion of the Nespresso flagship store on Andrássy Avenue. Contemporary interior design, premium retail space, and complex construction with the collaboration of DVM.

The expansion of the Nespresso Boutique located on Andrássy Avenue in Budapest aimed at rethinking and functionally developing an iconic downtown retail space. The project's goal was to create a more spacious, transparent, and higher-quality commercial area for the continuously growing number of visitors and expanding brand offerings, while preserving the historical character and urban embedding of the building.

During the development, the original, limited-sized store underwent significant expansion, resulting in a premium retail space nearly three times larger, exceeding 450 m². The foundation of the concept was to simplify customer pathways, transparently showcase products, and create a strong interior that conveys brand experience.

During the construction, DVM's task was to organize and execute the construction works taking place in the complex downtown environment, ensuring sensitive integration with the existing historic building structures, as well as coordinating fit-out works according to high-quality standards. Coordinating the narrow urban conditions, scheduling aligned with continuous business operations, and precise interior design posed significant professional challenges. Throughout the entire construction process, DVM consistently ensured the premium quality level expected by the brand.

The completed Nespresso Boutique is an internationally standard brand store that creates a contemporary retail experience in the historic environment of Andrássy Avenue, while achieving high levels of functional efficiency and visitor experience.

The L-shaped sales area is functionally divided into three distinct zones: the coffee machine display area facing Andrássy Avenue, the capsule sales area in the historic arched space, and the accessories and coffee experience tasting zone. The central element of the space is a “Piano Bar” style installation that emphasizes customer interaction and experiential product use.

The interior design concept employs a clean, contemporary aesthetic, where the use of natural materials and a unified brand identity play a key role. The aim of the spatial design was to create a flexible store prepared for future expansions, capable of adapting to Nespresso's global retail standards.
