TODO Restaurant Renovation

The restaurant renovation project, completed under DVM's general contracting, aimed to give a full makeover to a previously elegant dining venue, the STEAM restaurant. The primary mission of the project was to establish a youthful, trendy new direction that brings fresh energy into the restaurant's everyday life.

Thematic Shift and Retrofit: The renovation involved a complete thematic shift as well as a full retrofit and facelift, all executed by us as the general contractor. Exterior design was carried out by András Hitka and Viktória Hitka, who envisioned the dynamic new concept. Our task was the precise and efficient implementation of their design vision, ensuring that the restaurant could welcome guests in a renewed form.

Unique Design and Functional Elements: During the project, several unique functional and design elements were created, defining the restaurant's new character. These solutions stand out not only aesthetically but also significantly enhance the guest experience. The bar counter serves as the central feature of the guest area, forming the foundation for fast and high-quality service. A key element is the show kitchen, which offers an interactive experience for guests, and sits alongside a uniquely Oikos-painted wall that doubles as a photo backdrop.
