Diligent Office, Szervita Square Building

The design of the Diligent office in Budapest was part of an international corporate workplace project in the Szervita Square Building. The office, constructed between 2021 and 2022, houses the company’s global product innovation center in the heart of Budapest, in a premium class office building with LEED Platinum certification, the self-developed Szervita Square Building.

The interior design concept of the project was created by an international design team, which DVM adapted according to Hungarian regulations, standards, and construction practices during implementation. The task also involved the detailed technical processing of foreign plans, ensuring that the design concept was realized in unchanged quality within the local environment.

The construction affected the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Szervita Square Building. The second floor features a multifunctional conference center with large meeting rooms, presentation and projection options, as well as a high-capacity communal kitchen and dining area. The upper two levels were designed with modern office spaces, accommodating both open work areas and cellular offices, adapting to various workflows and team sizes.

One of the biggest challenges of the project was the high-level implementation of international design standards. The American corporate requirements specified numerous materials and products that were not available in Europe, necessitating direct procurement from the United States. DVM was responsible for coordinating the incorporation of these special materials and aligning various technical systems throughout the entire construction process.

The project placed a strong emphasis on high-quality construction, consistent detailing, and the coherent representation of the corporate identity. The conference rooms were equipped with modern audiovisual infrastructure, while the design of the office levels serves flexible working, collaboration, and employee comfort.

DVM was responsible for the entire interior construction, from the local adaptation of the international concept to the coordination of technical disciplines and the realization of the project. The result is a workplace environment that meets high technical standards and international corporate expectations, serving as a worthy location for Diligent’s global product innovation center in the heart of Budapest.
