Corteva Agriscience

DVM’s Design & Build team designed the interior concept for Corteva Agriscience’s Budapest office. The project aimed to create an inspiring, human-centred and efficient working environment across nearly 500 m².

DVM’s Design & Build team worked on the fit-out project for the Budapest office of Corteva Agriscience, a global agricultural innovation company. During the development of the nearly 500 m² office space, the client commissioned DVM to create the interior design concept, while the detailed design documentation was prepared by Futureal’s specialists.

One of the project’s key objectives was to create a modern and inspiring workplace that supports in-person collaboration, encourages employees to return to the office, and accommodates both focused work and formal or informal meetings.

Efficient space planning played a central role throughout the design process. As the floor area of the new office was reduced by nearly half compared to the previous workplace, making optimal use of the available space was a key consideration. The resulting layout provides comfortable working conditions for employees with a permanent office presence, while also integrating flexible communal spaces into everyday operations.

The interior design concept drew inspiration from Corteva Agriscience’s field of activity: the world of agricultural crop production. The office’s visual identity is defined by nature-inspired colours, organic forms and carefully selected materials. Green plays a central role in the open office area, appearing across floor finishes, walls, suspended ceiling elements and furniture surfaces.

Colour-blocking solutions were used to visually distinguish the various functional zones. Collaboration areas are highlighted with bold colour surfaces, while spaces dedicated to focused work feature more restrained, neutral tones, complemented in places by yellow accents. In the reception area, Corteva’s blue brand colour is prominently featured, while the kitchen and support functions are also distinguished by their own dedicated colour concept.

Throughout the project, DVM’s aim was to create a fresh, positive and human-centred working environment that reflects the company’s innovative mindset while supporting the employee experience. To help create a professional workplace, furniture from Haworth and Blue was also selected for the interior.

The completed office now serves Corteva Agriscience’s Hungarian team as a modern, functional and inspiring workplace for their everyday operations.
