The new Genesys Hungary Budapest Research and Development Center was created as a future-proof working environment that simultaneously supports innovation, collaboration, and employee well-being. The Hungarian center of the world's leading AI-based cloud service provider was realized near Eiffel Square, covering nearly 2,500 m², responding to the company's extraordinary growth and the needs of its continuously expanding development team.

The goal of the project was to establish a research and development center capable of providing an attractive working environment for the region's top engineers while supporting new forms of hybrid work and a collaboration-based corporate culture. At the center of the spatial organization is flexibility: alongside open office work areas, various focus areas, meeting rooms, conference spaces, and community functions serve different working styles.

One of the defining elements of the interior design concept is the "cloud" theme, which reflects Genesys's technological profile. The functions are arranged in colorful zones that help with orientation and give a distinctive identity to the office space. The floor coverings, acoustic elements, furniture, and ceiling systems create a unified visual language while also supporting the natural segmentation of the longitudinal layout. The special ceiling solutions and color gradient spatial design create a dynamic, inspiring working environment.

The employee experience played a key role in the project. The center includes conference rooms, community spaces, relaxation rooms, fitness functions, a yoga room, play areas, as well as several terraces and panoramic community spaces. The office design follows the modern workplace concept, where the workplace is not just a location for work but also a community and innovation platform.

Sustainability and environmental performance received special attention during the project. The office was designed with LEED certification criteria in mind, integrating energy-efficient systems, modern engineering, and solutions that improve workplace comfort. Air quality, acoustic performance, and the use of natural light were all significant considerations during the design and implementation phases.

DVM participated in the execution of the project, where the coordinated implementation of complex technical requirements, high-level technological infrastructure, and detailed interior design concepts was the focus. Special emphasis was placed on integrating modern audiovisual systems, ensuring outstanding acoustic performance, and the high-quality design of large community and conference functions.

The Genesys Hungary center, completed in 2023, is now not only one of the company's most important European research and development bases but also a significant, future-oriented workplace project in Budapest's office stock.
